Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing data for business decisions and requirements, providing technical solutions to business needs and enhancing the quality of IT products and services.
Responsibilities
- Define detailed requirements and create design specifications.
- Primary owner of all functional specifications, process designs, user interface (UI) designs and end-user documentation.
- Analyze issues and challenges of the business and provide design for better
solutions to enhance the user experience. - Perform configurations based on new and changing business requirements.
- Oversee design and test reviews with the project teams to ensure systems
design, development, and test plans are supporting the business goals. - Provide immediate communication to critical issues impacting business
requirements. - Train and mentor project team members to improve the quality and completeness of specifications.
- Provide project requirements to project manager to develop project estimates and schedules.
- Provide oversight to end-user testing.
- Provide project management on small projects and supporting oversight on large projects.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Information
- Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4 years or more years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis,
- Requirements Management and System Configuration.
- Four or more years of work experience in application development and testing.
- At least 2 to 3 Implementation Cycle or End-to-End project experience.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
